What is Sandipity?

The Sandipity workshop is my way of luring people away from digital screens to create with their own digits, following the vagaries of the material—colored sand on lightboxes—with or without prompts.

It is a game of randomness and control.

It is purposely ephemeral, captured only in fleeting photos; it’s mostly about the joy of the process and experimentation.

Luminous sand, color and chiaroscuro, texture and serendipity: Sandipity
